What’s the conference about?

The conference provides a platform for students from the University of Rzeszów and other institutions to share their research and ideas in three key areas: Linguistics, Literature, and Culture & Communication. It encourages discussion on linguistic theory and its real-world applications, modern approaches to literary analysis, and the evolving relationship between culture and communication in contemporary society.

What do i need to do to sign up?

Provide Personal Information

Fill in your name, email address, affiliation (your university or institution) and select your academic status (BA, MA, or PhD student).

Choose Your Section

Select the topic area that best fits your research: Linguistics, Literature, or Culture & Communication.

Submit Your Project

Provide the title of your presentation and an abstract (up to 250 words) for a 20-minute presentation. Submissions in other fields are also welcome and will be reviewed with due consideration.

Complete Your Registration

Submit your proposal by 6 April 2025. Participation is free for students of the University of Rzeszów, a 120 PLN fee applies to students from other universities.

A long-standing tradition of Galicia Studies, the Oxford Debate brings together first-year IA students for the grand finale of the 2025 debate cycle.

Tara Seekins will deliver a keynote titled Why Stories Matter: Teaching and Learning With Chimamanda Adichie’s “The Danger of a Single Story”.
